About That Indie Look

Thanks for visiting us. That Indie Look is a vintage clothing company selling both men's and women's vintage clothing and accessories from the 1950's up to the 1980's. All pieces are of a high quality and unique,we don't sell modern reproductions.

That Indie Look came into existance in Jan 2006. After returning from eight months travelling and no money in my pockets l needed to earn a living. From a young age l always loved vintage clothing, shopping in charity shops to find a hidden gem, something no one else would have. So it seemed an obvious thing to do, try and make a living out of something you have a passion for. With no business plan and no money l set to work from my parents house selling off some of my personal collection on Ebay. As much as l loved my 1970's long sleeved Adidas t shirt, it simply no longer fitted, it had to go! Gradually over the next year l built up a number of contacts both here in the UK and abroad and took the plunge and got my first website. To say it was basic would be an understatement, £300 dosen't get you much!

It's now been three years since l started, still no business plan in place but all going well. New website is up and running, two members of staff and exciting times ahead. Festivals and fairs this summer and our very own vintage re vamp range coming soon, so keep popping back and having a look at whats new at That Indie Look.
